New single from London group is an ode to drinking with friends
Following their last single “The Cloud Bursts”, the five-piece group and performing tour de force The Outside Chancers return with “Absent Friends”.
While a relatively new band on the scene, the band members collectively bring a wealth of experience to the table, having worked individually with the likes of Logan Brill, The Wandering Hearts and The Worry Dolls. Guitarist and songwriter Dan has even had music featured on the hugely popular Nashville TV series. Vocalist Jen has also worked alongside The Vaccines and Billy Ocean with keyboard player Natalie regularly touring with Goldie.
Their recent releases have seen them garner support from Country Hits, Lyric Magazine and loads more. “Absent Friends” sees the band take on a different style – a more emotive, ethereal take on the genre. Listen below.
