Warm Soda, the project of former Bare Wires frontman Matthew Melton, share their first single, “Reaction”. Warm Soda is about as Oakland as you can get. With guitars switching back and forth from quick hits to melodic picking, it's a perfect accompaniment to Melton's hushed vocals. Although Bare Wires is long gone, Warm Soda carries on the best of their signature garage sound. “Reaction” will be out September 25 on Oakland's own Southpaw Records, and another track, “Lost for Words”, will be featured on the second edition of Castleface Record's flexi disc compilation with Three Oh Sees, Ty Segall, White Fence and more. Also, be sure to catch them on their upcoming national tour–dates below.
