Woodsman recently lost a drummer and decided to go in a new direction, and this live set incorporates more sampling and simpler percussion, but the swirling, epic guitar landscapes remain. The band says they recorded it in a new venue in Savannah, Georgia, which is in an old church that looks like a high school cafeteria. If it's anything like my high school cafeteria was, everyone was completely vaped and mindlessly eating french fries. Not a bad way to prepare for International Sour Diesel Day tomorrow!
