“Poster Child” is the first single from the upcoming album Nothing To Say from David Swick. With influences like Jeff Tweedy, The National and The Microphones, Nashville based indie artist Swick has created a brand of music that is like a palate cleanser for your playlist.
Utilizing guitars, strings and percussion, “Poster Child” has a layered sound that encourages you to really listen to the nuanced lyrics. “I don’t mean to offend you darling, But I warned you I’m the worst at talking”. Swick has a voice quality that really communicates what he is saying in a timeless way. Kind of like talking his melody. I don’t believe he is the worst at talking!
