Chicago garage pop-punk band performs on Audiotree STAGED
One of the best bands to emerge from the DIY scene in the last few years is Chicago garage pop-punk band Beach Bunny, led by the dazzling singer-guitarist Lili Trifilio. The group broke through this year in a big way thanks to their excellent debut LP Honeymoon, which was packed with endless hooks, crunching riffs and heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting. Prior to COVID, Beach Bunny had a major tour lined up that included stops at Coachella and Shaky Knees.
Audiotree, meanwhile, has been holding it down as one of the better YouTube channels for live performances and interviews. Their focus on up-and-coming indie artists and local DIY scenes is stellar. This evening, Beach Bunny will be the latest guests on their quarantine-style livestream series STAGED, beginning at 7 p.m. PT.
