Just as Trent Reznor was finished announcing tour dates and a record release date of his side project How to destroy angels_—a band with a more annoying letter structure than tUnE-yArDs—he has decided to use that fuel to add to the proverbial industrial rock fire. And that fire is burning brighter than Black Rock Desert in late August. His original project, Nine Inch Nails, which had been tabled by Reznor in 2009, is apparently back with slated tour dates for 2013 and 2014. No news on if there is a definitive album release behind these dates, but the new NIN lineup is looking pretty impressive. The lineup will include:
Trent Reznor
Eric Avery of Jane's Addiction
Adrian Belew of King Crimson
Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv
Alessandro Cortini
Ilan Rubin
It seems that all things 90s are back with one small exception: When you visit the NIN website, the link directs you to Pitchfork's press release. We're too young to remember, but was he always such a press whore?
