Born Bad Records has long been one of my favorite European labels and with the arrival of a new comp called PAINK, the foothold is being burrowed ever deeper. This comp is an outlet for French punk made between 1977 and 1982, and if you didn't think punk could be full of exuberance when processed through the nasally, Romantic language that is French, you will be just as enamored of this release as I am. It has a hefty showing from female punks as well as male, and with the occasional English language line thrown in, this might be Born Bad's best release yet. You can stream the full thing below, or head to this link to pick up an awesome-looking limited edition vinyl from the label in France.
