If you haven't heard Bish Bosch, the latest release from British experimental musician Scott Walker, you must be living in some unfortunate drab cage. The record that Walker released last year is a thrilling, triumphant take on lyrical wistfulness and musical aplomb, meandering and jumping like a drunk frog. It's great, so so great. The news that Walker will be reissuing his first five solo albums into one glorious package comes as a wonderful turn in the Walker story, whose legendary career has careened and excelled since the 60s.

Walker's label, Universal, will release Scott, Scott 2, Scott 3, Scott 4 and ‘Til The Band Comes In in one package under the title Scott Walker: The Collection 1967-70. The release will be available in CD and LP format on June 3, and as is the case of the future of hard-format releases, will come with special bonuses that include rare interviews with Walker and commentary from collaborators. It'll be a great introduction to a man whose career is neverending.
