Watch for Tera Melos to become a bit more ubiquitous this year. If you didn't catch their math rock epic Patagonian Rats from last year, look forward to their upcoming cassette/EP Zoo Weather, out February 22, which they managed to record when they weren't prank-calling editors.
Here's one from that, in which Mike Watt is mumbling something and maybe playing bass and the trio are doing a whole lot else. An interesting excursion into some kind of majestic 8-bit bobbly head do-woppery, the kind of slow-burn epic Animal Collective would pen but then perform by cuing samples.
