Warm Soda, “Waiting For Your Call”

Alex Pitta

Warm Soda

There's nothing worse than luke warm soda and the sugary after taste it bequeaths on the taste buds, but Oakland outfit Warm Soda is masterful at forging tunes that please the palate. Their debut LP, Someone For You, will be released on March 26 through Castle Face Records. In wake of this fine news, Warm Soda decided to put out a track from the album.

“Waiting For Your Call” is a fuzzy track that encompasses supreme elements of glam rock and punk. The rhythm guitar crunches like tempered glass, while the lead shimmers and glistens. The woolly bass and portly drums hustle the song forward, and the vocals are waxy, crisp, and impossible to shake out of your head.
