This week on the Audio Imposition, Reed and Adam, the duo behind New York's Alright 2014 come to the studio to talk about this year's edition of the DIY Punk / Hardcore / Whatever festival. We discuss how they picked acts, the process of putting bills together, the difference between working with a legitimate venue and a DIY venue (their preference may surprise you), how they maintain a zen like calm during the run up to the fest, what they find most enjoyable about putting together the festival, we answer questions attendees about the festival have, we talk about scheduling and then we spitball ideas on how to make the festival more fun and lots and lots and lots of copious shit talking (are you mentioned? Probably!)
All information about New York's Alright 2014 can be found on the Facebook event page.
