The London-Based Songwriter Shares a Subtly Lush New EP

Still a newcomer to the scene, Swiss multi-Instrumentalist can count a wealth of experience and plaudits in his short time releasing music to date. Heavily inspired by the likes of Bonobo and Sufjan Stevens, he’s an artist with his own unique take on electronica and indie that’s earned support from Acid Stag, Mixmag, Earmilk and across Spotify’s editorial network.

A real piece of the artists personality and experiences, the ‘Transatlantic’ EP details a time when Gaspar was struggling with a long-distance relationship. In his own words – “You can try as hard as you can, and it can be very difficult when it fails”.

The EP ebbs and flows between moments of melancholic, indie pop sadness and upbeat electronica. The lead single ‘Sirens’ provides an honest, lyrical appraisal of the artists emotions, while the standout track ‘Eighteen’ stands as a playful, dance anthem.
