The eleventh edition of the annual Afropunk Festival returned to Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, NY on Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23. On the second day on Sunday, August 23, there were live sets from Dust Rays (featuring Kirk Douglas and Mark Kelley of The Roots with Ricc Sheridan of Earl Greyhound), Gary Clark Jr., Jesse Boykins III, Lenny Kravitz, Petite Noir (of Cape Town, South Africa and featuring Lina Viktor), Raury, Thundercat, Vintage Trouble, and more.
