In early May of 2013, we sent four cameras to the Northampton, MA quartet known as Speedy Ortiz before the release of their debut record, Major Arcana. In return, we got six cameras (tying the Shot by the Band record previously set by Roomrunner) showing the band hanging out with friends, hanging out on a roof, playing shows (including one we attended at Cake Shop), selling merchandise at those aforementioned concerts, having their pictures taken by a photographer, driving, flipping the bird, recording the music video for their song, “Tiger Tank,” and more. Speaking of Roomrunner, members of that band and their album make appearances in this set too.
