On Monday, August 26th, Captured Tracks, the five year old label, held a soft opening of their brand new record store in Greenpoint, Brooklyn located at 195 Calyer Street. Here's a first look at the store and some of the items in the Captured Tracks office, which is adjacent to the shop. The store carries albums by artists signed to the label (such as DIIV, Mac DeMarco, Widowspeak), various other records by other artists along with cassettes, t-shirts, pins and tote bags. The space will also serve as a trading post where people will bring in records and books to exchange for something else.
