Ex Hex, the band from Washington, DC featuring Mary Timony (Helium, Autoclave, Wild Flag), Betsy Wright (The Fire Tapes), and Laura Harris (Aquarium) performed two New York City shows last week. The first occurred at Glasslands Gallery which also featured sets from EULA and Household (Household bassist Isabel Freeman was celebrating her birthday) on Thursday, March 20th. Ex Hex ended their set with a cover of Johnny Thunders' “You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory.”
