Arthur Moon, “Room”

Meredith Schneider

Brooklyn’s Lora-Faye Ashuvud has made it her goal to create some of the most inspired electro-rock music out today, under the moniker Arthur Moon. She’s been steadily building a name for herself around this signature sound, releasing tracks that have a total ambiance around them. Today, she shares with us the exclusive premiere of the video for her live session of “Room” at Velvet Elk Studios. Shot in black and white, the video captures her live performance tactics, captivating its audience with her unique and beautiful vocals, the precision with which she and her bandmates present their music.
Says Lora-Faye, “I wrote many of the lyrics for ‘Room’ with a cut-up poem I made from an IKEA catalog, which is appropriate given that the song riffs on a feeling of domestic panic.”
Check it out now, and keep up with Arthur Moon here.
