Built from live set footage, Mechanimal's “Freezer” video will have you looking into flight costs to Greece in order to witness the gothic, industrial techno underbelly of the country for yourself. With little optimism in social change since the group formed in 2011, “Freezer” surveys the Athens urban landscape with a dystopian eye, observing “a cold beat rising” and “a sudden glimpse of burning airways.”
It's neither a call to arms nor an Orwellian tragedy in which all is lost for humanity since the arrival that Mechanimal envisions is a “future revised.”
