The Shivas' excellent debut tape, WHITEOUT, was reissued by K Records this spring and its pleasing surf melodies and joyful jangly retro sound now have an accompying visual for the track "Baby I Need You". The foursome, whose lead singer looks like the picture of 60s beauty, coyly calls out the need for her love, a simple and innocent plea. She flirts with him, cooks for him, and necks with him—until a revealing moment shows us that he isn't who we thought after all.
WHITEOUT is available from K Records on LP and Burger Records on cassette, and the band is heading on tour at the dates below.
