UK-based artist Ripsy May recently debuted the music video for her third track “Dare”. A project that was co-written and produced by LA duo The Palms, the song itself is a masterful protest to people who vow their love conditionally. “Don’t you dare say you love me / Then leave without goodbye, and leave without a fight” is the haunting line that sticks with you.
Directed by Tigran Tovmasyan and Ripsy May herself, video is quite interesting, following Ripsy May as she walks around the desert nearly nude. What she does don is actually quite artful, and her dancing is nothing if not intriguing. Contrasted against the brilliant blue of a sky, bright yellow of sunflowers, and vivid green of apples, among other things, this visually stunning piece is not one to miss.
