One of our favorite new finds is Portland, Oregon's Sad Horse, who released a wonderful and explosive little LP called Purple on Purple is Purple on Waterwing Records earlier this year, something you should really consider copping if you love shouting, two-pieces, fun-drums, punk flubs, crum-bums, chum buckets, flim-flams, or the aesthetics of Japanese children with infinite crayons. In the latter department, we have this cutesy little video with basic proto-internet animation, for the song "Mountain Lion". Road tripping band finds mountain lion in desert, keeps on roadtripping with the new pet. Sad Horse prove that fun without without flash is real fun.
