Dan “Yalls” Casey will either be the life of your party or the one man buzzkill, depending on how you view his belligerent antics in the video for “Like A Fool”, a track taken from his recently released United LP.
Whether he’s cutting loose—perhaps a little too loose—on the dance floor of a wedding reception or milling around a backyard in a St. Bernard costume, Casey is the solitary fool on the hill. The video suggests an obliviousness to Casey’s fool persona, but his lyrics of “but I’ll call you back” embed a charm to his fool, giving him sincerity beyond the surface interpretations of drunk dialing arse hole.
