Seminal noisemakers Boredoms have inked a deal with Thrill Jockey for the release of the 2004 live recording of Super Roots 9. It's only the “first in a series of records planned for release by the Boredoms in conjunction with Thrill Jockey.” Look forward to “singles, special limited editions, along with albums.” While no release date was announced for Super Roots 9, Thrill Jockey did promise that the release will come included with 320 bit-rate DRM-free downloads.
The band will be touring the United States through March and April, performing on three occasions “in the round,” so that audiences can view the performance from any vantage they choose.
