Cage leaks songs from next album, Depart From Me. Surprise! It's moody as fuck.
Depart From Me is shaping up to be Cage's darkest record to date, which is quit an accomplishment considering his catalog boasts songs about mental institutes, deadbeat dads and drug abuse. Jokes aside, “Nothing Left To Say” is about recently deceased Definitive Jux recording artist and member of Cardboard City, Camu Tao.
“I Never Knew You” is part of an eight song free EP that will precede Depart From Me.
The full length drops June 29 on Definitive Jux.
