Dan Francia of NYC’s Flagland will be releasing a solo EP, Alone and Together on July 19. Based off the title track, the EP will contain tunes of a slightly more mellow vibe than Flagland’s trademark pop-punk enthusiasm. The song begins with a gentle little instrumental before breaking into harsh scuzz led by Francia’s melancholic voice.
All of the songs on the five-track EP—which his bandcamp page claims are to be played continuously as one long song—were written and recorded by Francia, with additional mixing by bandmate Nick Dooley and Big Ups’ Amar Lal.
