Louise Johnstone (Dem Hunger) is a bad-ass beat calculator who you may have run into via his release on Leaving Records. His latest work is a two-track split release between hungry and dem-like monikers GSD and GG Alien. The line down the middle of his stylings is fair: GG Alien goes for broke, throwing kitchen sink electronics at a wall where everything sticks, while GSD is one loop, manipulated ad infinitum, with small percolating variations conjuring up manifestations of drone and glitch.
