The Glitch Mob were staples of L.A.'s beat scene, as ediT is known as the originator of the glitch sound. Selling out national tours strictly on word of mouth, Glitch Mob's debut will undoubtedly be the buzz of the summer if it lives up to the hype.
“Drive It Like You Stole It” is what dance music sounds like when it goes for power ballad build up. This song is built for booming systems as the drums rumble on the lows. Shit, even the crunchy snares snap like 20 Slim Jims being cut with hedge clippers. “Drive It Like You Stole It” really takes off when those heavy metal riffs get cut up and the synths rise from the ash of the deconstructed sonics. If the planners of Coachella are wise, they'll put Glitch Mob in a time slot when the sun's at the horizon and the desert gets chilly.
