“Blood Flow”, by one of our favorite producer's James Ferraro, dropped today, presumably from someplace icy. In anticipation of his new record, Cold, due out March 25 by Hippos In Tanks, the new track lives up to its album's image. Made with sharp, high-toned beats, “Blood Flow” actually conjurs images of one's blood stopping. There's a shallow breathiness to Ferraro's voice, and you can practically see the puffs of air falling out as he intones over the hi-hats and sword slices.
We can't wait to hear what the rest of the album has to teach us about being ice cold.
