Following his contribution to a split cassette with Andy Boay last month, weird-pop avantster Jerry Paper has announced his upcoming sophomore LP, aptly titled Big Pop for Chameleon World, and new single “3D Dream (World Mix)”. The track, like much his other music to date, is intent on luring us into a sensory parallel universe of warped digital quality. Between synth-drum interplay and a xylaphone clatter, his happy, off-kilter style can quickly switch from old-fashioned to futuristic as if they're two sides of the same coin, and the slow skulk of his romantic croon maintains Lynchian mystery as it fills his cavernous machine-sound.
