After a short run of shows at the end of the summer with some similiarly inflected artists like Andy Boay and Cool World and Tonstartssbandht, Jerry Paper put out two new releases. The International Man of Mysery being the first, and Fuzzy Logic being the second, it was hard to decide which was the better release to run—they both have unruly shine that bank on brilliant subtlety. Ultimately, Fuzzy Logic felt most appropriate for begrudgingly walking into Monday morning. Jerry Paper's retrofitted lounge act is slow to move, hazy and full of flanges, and not too fierce on the ears. Let it walk you into the week. The fewer demands, the better.
