Shy Nodi, is fast establishing himself as one of the Nordic’s most exciting new songwriters.
Born in Stockholm as Nirob Islam, his family had recently moved to Sweden from Bangladesh. His songwriting breakthrough came via his work on ‘The Ocean’ by Mike Perry Ft. SHY Martin. The multi-platinum hit has since been streamed over 550 million times, and was also awarded Spotify’s prize for ‘Most Streamed Song of The Year’ at the Swedish Publishing Awards that year.
Since then, he’s gone on to work with The Chainsmokers and Bea Miller – Building an audience and following within the industry, the songwriter has since won a selection of industry awards. He soon went on to release his first solo effort, “No Vibe” and “Han Solo” picked up support from the likes of Complex and Hilly Dilly. The new single “Snakes” has gone on to support from a selection of New Music Friday playlists worldwide.
