Tony Molina, “Nowhere To Go”

Tony Molina, boss of underrated scuzzy lo-fi jams, has put out his second single from his forthcoming solo album reissue, and it's one of our favorites. Clocking in at under a minute (!) Molina manages to shred through passionate emotion, depression, and isolation, as they are all punctuated by overdubbed sliced guitars. Molina pleads that he has to find a new place to go, but as the title suggests, that place is nowhere. As on the first single to come from this reissue, Molina focuses on the deep wells of depression that we all endlessly struggle with, but does so through a teeth-gritting sunny disposition.

The reissue of Dissed and Dismissed will release on Slumberland Records on March 25, followed by a new solo album this year.
