Explosive psych-spazzers Lightning Bolt announced a US tour for the spring.
Their last release, Earthly Delights, came out in late 2009, but I get the feeling these songs will show no signs of wear. The two-piece sounds like a five-piece at their calmest and rarely disappoint live. Channeling Hella's frenzied pace with Wolf Eyes' wall of noise, Lightning Bolt summon a sonic black hole that strips the light from the room, which is something you can experience firsthand yet again, if they happen to come to a room in a city near you:
