Everyone's favorite (?) bratty skuzz-poppers Wavves are back and as bored as ever, with a new EP titled LIFE SUX out September 20 on Nathan Williams' own Ghost Ramp Label. This EP sees a broadening of Wavves' basic philosophy: in the words of a recent press release, “if the band's previous records were all about one man's self-loathing, this six-song EP takes that sentiment and generously expands it outward.” Thanks, guys!
The EP features collaborations with Best Coast and Fucked Up, respectively cooing and thrashing in an attempt to either combat ennui, embrace ennui, or some mutant mixture of the two, but all the while having a fucking fun time.
