The experimental bedroom psyche label that brought us Music to Play Tony Hawk To returns with a second volume of their spaced-out gems. The new compilation from Tasty Morsels features the label’s “ufo grooves, seductive atmospheres, childrens [sic] poetry and adult-oriented hits,” and a lot of midi manipulation. We can’t forget to mention the midi manipulation.

Tasty Morsels Vol. 2 floats from lush, futuristic tracks like the underwater-echoey keys on “Forever Journey’s Pt. 1”, to funky bass-wahing slow jams like “Puern Emotions” back to tripped-out space jams that took a tab with R. Stevie Moore and Ariel Pink before heading into a studio on Atlantis.  Even shades of 8-bit appear through the gurgling field recordings sugar-coated with pretty treble melodies and surging background beats.

Listen to a few stand out morsels below and check out the whole thing on Soundcloud.
