“Chillin Island” Live, LE1F and Prince Rama at The Whitney Museum

On Sunday, April 7th, The Whitney Museum of American Art held performances in conjunction with their “Blues for Smoke” exhibition that was curated by Himanshu Suri and Greedhead Music. There were live performances by Prince Rama and LE1F plus installations by Prince Rama and artists on Greedhead Music. The event ended with a live version of “Chillin Island,” which airs on East Village Radio Tuesday afternoons from 2-4PM, hosted by Dapwell and Despot with actress Alia Shawkat, artist Nate Hill, musician Matt Sweeney and rapper Mr. MFN eXquire. LE1F did a butoh performance in one of the galleries as well.
