On Monday, September 22, a bill featuring a group billed as Rawks Hawks, another called Naranja Bausch, and Big Ups performed at Shea Stadium in Brooklyn, NY. The first band, Big Ups, ended up being the veterans since they have previously performed at the East Williamsburg venue named after a bygone Queens stadium before. The other two acts were actually Blood Orange (“naranja” means “orange” in Español) who was joined by guest vocalists Ava Raiin and Samantha Urbani, and a headlining set from Julian Casablancas + The Voidz. You know, two performers that normally play much larger rooms than the one at Shea Stadium.
