Portland does not need help being dreary and desolate, but the IntoTheWoods.tv crew sought the bleakest location in Western Oregon, Classic U-Pull-It U-Save, for its video with British Columbia's Weed. Wreckage in every direction, some of which was happening mere feet from their set up, Weed shredded through "Heal" with scuzzy abandon not just to be loud, but to be louder than the cars being junked nearby.
For the price of $2 a head and signing a waiver which no one bothered to read, the band was turned loose in the junk yard with warning to watch out for thieves. One man's trash is another man's treasure, as Weed knifed-out seatbelts from cars to make new guitar straps.
