Back in January, Melbourne transplant Mikael Caterer (Scott & Charlene's Wedding), along with fellow members of his band Shorts, put out "Berlin 1971," a track off their so-titled dreampop EP. Almost a half a year later, the track's video counterpart is out, shot in ultra lo-fi analog home-video style. The scene switches back and forth from an empty gym to the roof of a building, and while ostensibly nothing is really happening besides a light-hearted jam session and shooting hoops, they manage to strike a nostalgic tone that lingers long after the video ends. The EP is out now, available digitally and on 7" vinyl from Aloe Music.
