Taka Perry is a Sydney-based producer with a glitchy pop music style and he’s already been accomplishing so much. He’s made a ton of music, collaborated with local and international artists, has had multiple number one hits on triple j Unearthed, and has made commissioned musical works. He’s also a co-writer to Okenyo’s single, “Ten Feet Tall” which has gained a lot of success.
He’s recently released a music video for his track “Slow”, which features Jordi Davis from String Elephants. Right from the start, the vocals has a Bastille feel, and I’m instantly hooked. The video shows a girl walking around in different places – a garden, fountains, in the city, etc. The video is simple and calm, yet still positive. This track is the perfect anthem to finish out the summer with, and reminds everyone to “take it slow.”
