Here's a Philly band that'd feel comfortable on a label like Paw Tracks, with their texturally-enhanced, folky meanderings and their uber-cheery vocal melodies. It's got that freak out calypso vibe of a song from Sung Tungs and the scratchy home hiss of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti.
While “essentially” the solo project of 28 year old Scott Daly, Aunt Dracula manifests itself as a trio with two guitars and a sample-triggering drummer for shows. They've already gone on self-booked national tours and self-released a full length called Face Peel.
