Emma Louise “Scout” Niblett (that's two T's and a nibble) is going on tour — again. Guess the rumors are true, there really isn't any money in music. Last we heard she was in Glasgow somewhere crooning for Glaswegians, after a small winter tour following the release of This Fool Can Die Now and a summer tour with St. Vincent.
She's also gone on a bit of a YouTube rampage: a La Blogotheque Take Away Show in Paris, a Black Cab session in Bristol, as well as a first ever music video, featuring Will Oldham.
The Black Cab and La Blogotheque videos both have her rockin' the backpack amp, like a homeless busker. Which makes me wonder if she's ten years and a few bottles of sloe gin away from being indie rock's official bag lady.
Still, that'll be one fierce bag lady.
