The Blank Tapes released their first “official” record last month on Antenna Farm Records, and we're shamed to say this day-brightening track is only coming our way now. “Don't Ever Get Old” was posted on iTunes yesterday with a B-side of their song “Pearl”, recorded and revamped as an acoustic classic. “Don't Ever Get Old” is as uplifting as you can stand; it's an effortless, simplistic pop tune that traipses lightly through soft brush. It's a well-worn trope and one with which we can fondly agree, but with the light touch of this California duo, aging advice never did sound so toffee-filled and sweet. It'll bring you all the positive vibes you've been looking for.
