Sacramento's San Kazakgascar might be trying too hard to send some messages with their band name but we think they do a good job keeping their “Eastern” sound pretty tightly aligned with the noisy rock music they seem to know plenty about. Who can blame them for liking some of those Jew scales and naming themselves half after one of them Central Asian countries and half after that island off Africa. We didn't reference Jimmy Page on our Myspace page, they did. They also made a website for their fake country. We just like the way their songs sound.
