Not to be slowed down, Prince Rama has recently announced a tour in Europe this spring, an upcoming release of their first feature film, Never Forever, and the addition of two new members to the band. All of this while Nimai manages to keep up with the addictive and tasty Healthy or Hungover column on this here website (seriously, read it). The ladies wrapped up a tour with Animal Collective in the fall and have since added members Christopher Burke and Michael Collins, on bass and synthesizer, with whom they will tour for their spring shows. To showcase the new lineup, Prince Rama will play a show on Thursday, 3/28 at Le Poisson Rouge, which will highlight songs from their recent Paw Tracks release, Top Ten Hits of the End of the World.
The trailer for their film, Never Forever, is below and it's giving us very tripped out Jodorowsky vibes, with a lot more glitter and a lot more dancing. It was directed by Lily X.
