Violent Femmes, and Kristin Hersh at the Prospect Park Bandshell

On Saturday, June 18, alternative music stalwarts Violent Femmes and Kristin Hersh (of Throwing Muses and 50 Foot Wave) performed at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival at Prospect Park Bandshell in Brooklyn, NY. The free show had a large turn out from fans of all ages.

Violent Femmes opened their set with their most well-known song (“Blister in the Sun”) & we loved them for getting it out of the way first.
